Award Winning Hospital Bus Service!

TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal has been awarded the Age Friendly Transport
Award for our Meath hospital bus at the National Age Friendly Recognition &
Achievement Awards Gala 2025.
We are members of the Age Friendly Alliances in Louth, Meath and Fingal and have
helped shape their strategies. We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing
accessible community transport to all groups of people within the 3 counties in which
we operate, this of course includes the elderly.
This commitment led to the development of our hospital bus project, supporting
those who might otherwise struggle to attend medical appointments.
The Age Friendly Transport Award recognises our County Meath Hospital Bus
Service, which runs Monday to Friday and is fully accessible. The service provides a
vital link for people across Meath, connecting both rural and urban communities with
Dublin’s public hospitals.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of Meath Accessible Transport Project CLG t/a
Flexibus who co-ordinate the TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal, we are very happy
to accept this award marking the recognition of our Accessible Hospital Bus service.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the community, our dedicated staff,
and everyone involved with Local Link Louth Meath Fingal. This achievement reflects
the hard work and commitment of all those who continue to support and champion
accessible transport for all. It stands as a meaningful example of our commitment to
promoting independence, dignity, and well-being within our community.” – John
Burns, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Meath Accessible Transport Project
CLG t/a Flexibus
